With an emphasis on wellness and prevention, our goal is to ensure all students, faculty, and staff are healthy and thriving in all facets of life. Our clinics provide service such as:
- Treatment of acute illnesses and injuries
- Immunizations and vaccinations
- Daily management of chronic medical conditions
- State-mandated screenings and sports physicals
- Workers’ compensation
WHAT THEY TREAT:
Each school health clinic is linked with the Louisiana Academic Health Network and is staffed by licensed medical professionals. The medical staff of each clinic supports students and staff by providing evaluation and treatment of minor acute and chronic health problems, basic laboratory procedures, vision/hearing screening, immunizations, sports physicals and appropriate referral for outside services. Each clinic is located on school property and opens 5 days a week during school hours.
All insurances accepted. There are NO CO-PAYS or out-of-pocket expense for students. Faculty and staff are responsible for co-pays and any additional fees for services performed in the clinic.
